Guidos, spiky hair, tattoos, fake tans, clubbing, beach and Jersey accents. What else could describe the new hilarious MTV show Jersey Shore? If you have not heard about Jersey Shore, you have obviously been living in a box. The people on this show are almost made for reality TV. First off there is Mike, better known as “The Situation”. He is probably the most hilarious character on Jersey Shore, because his name always has to do with something that happens to him. There is always a “situation” about to go down, according to him or Pauly D. Pauly D is an upbeat guido, who claims his hair is weather proof. Between the two of them, they make one interesting duo. Then there are the other two guys, Vinny and Ronnie who are the less interesting of the guys, but they too are very entertaining. Vinny calls everything as he sees it, and has no problem being blunt, but he genuinely cares about people (which he proved when Snooki got punched in the face). He also felt very inclined to alert everyone in the house when he had a mild case of pink eye, he thought he was being considerate, but it was pretty funny to listen to him make a big deal out of it. Then there is Ronnie, who is probably the sweetest guy in the house and tries to respect everyone and stay out of everyone’s way, even though his incredibly huge muscles might suggest other wise. When Ronnie dances or laughs, watch out. I do not know if he thinks he is good when he dances, but it really looks like he has something wrong with his body. The best part of Jersey Shore, is the dancing. I do not know if these people actually think they look like normal human beings when they dance, or if they are purposely dancing like a maniac for the camara. Either way, it is very hilarious and keeps me entertained. For those of you that do not watch the funny reality TV show, there is this dance the cast partakes in called the fist pump. Pauly D explained the fist pump as something that they do when they “feel the beat.” According to Pauly they have to pound the beat. When they go clubbing, they get down low to the ground, start “feeling the beat” and pump their fists in the air until they are standing up fully. If not anything else, this is the signature of Jersey Shore. There are four girls in the house, JWOW, Snookie, Angelica, and Sammi. Angelica is hardly in the show, and at times I forget she is even in the cast. JWOW is probably one of the most sincere, sweetest girls, who can also throw a mean punch when she needs to. Sammi is the pretty girl of the show that the guys got into a dispute over. She keeps viewers engaged, not necessarily because she is interesting, but because she has hooked up with half the guys in the house, including Ronnie and “The Situation”. Snookie, is probably one of the most hilarious people on the TV show. She gets upset for no reason about things that are not even about her. Snookie is a hilarious character because she always gets upset over things that are so irrelevant and unimportant to her. Jersey shore has the trashy qualities that would make for a regular one season TV show, but for some bizarre reason, it is unbelievably interesting and hilarious.
